Eldest son of Doctor Đinh Nho Công, awarded hương cống (cử nhân) at 18. He stayed at Hương Sơn as clan head of the 8th generation and founded the senior branch (chi trưởng). His contemporaries compared him to an immortal. Buried at Áng Phần with his principal wife Đặng Thị Giản; his giỗ falls on the 15th day of the 2nd lunar month, per his tomb plaque.
